Prof. Tamer Elsherbiny

Biography:

  • Prof. Tamer Elsherbiny, is a full Professor of Endocrinology at Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, since October 2024.

  • He is the head of the Endocrine division, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University since January 2025 till January 2028 and the vice president of Alexandria thyroid association.

  • He completed his residency program at Alexandria main university hospitals in 2006 and earned his PhD from Alexandria university in 2011.

  • He authored 18 peer-reviewed publications and was cited 72 times.

  • His research interests include ramadan and hypothyroidism, levothyroxine therapy, autoimmune thyroid disease, Hashimoto thyroiditis and Graves’ disease
