Within the framework of the Health Education Club; the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) of the Academic Research Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) in cooperation with the Endocrinology Unit of the Department of the Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University are organizing a lecture entitled "Get to Know More About the Thyroid Gland" on Thursday, 13^th of February 2025, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm (Cairo time) at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Lecture Hall.

This lecture aims to raise awareness about the thyroid gland, its vital role in the human body and the disorders that can affect its function. It will also cover the latest developments in research and trends in this regard.

The lecture will discuss:

• Raising public awareness about the thyroid gland and its role in the human body
• Thyroid disorders: causes, symptoms, and treatment
• Latest research and trends in this regard

The Health Education Club is a public health awareness program that provides the public community with the opportunity to learn and share insights about a healthy lifestyle through regular educational sessions addressing various health topics.

تحت إطار نادي التوعية الصحية؛ ينظم مركز الدراسات والبرامج الخاصة (CSSP) بقطاع البحث الأكاديمي بمكتبة الإسكندرية (BA) بالتعاون مع وحدة الغدد الصماء بقسم الأمراض الباطنة بكلية الطب جامعة الإسكندرية محاضرة بعنوان " أعرف أكتر عن الغدة الدرقية"، التي ستعقد يوم الخميس الموافق 13 فبراير 2025، من الساعة 12 ظهرًا حتى الساعة 2 ظهرًا (بتوقيت القاهرة)، بمكتبة الإسكندرية، مركز المؤتمرات، قاعة المحاضرات.

تهدف هذه المحاضرة إلى رفع الوعي حول الغدة الدرقية ودورها الحيوي في جسم الإنسان والاضطرابات التي يمكن أن تؤثر على وظيفتها. كما ستتناول أحدث التطورات في الأبحاث والاتجاهات في هذا الصدد.

ستناقش المحاضرة:

• رفع الوعي العام بالغدة الدرقية ودورها في جسم الانسان
• اضطرابات الغدة الدرقية: اسبابها واعراضها وعلاجها
• أحدث الأبحاث والاتجاهات في هذا الصدد
