Board Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Intellectual Property Delivers a Lecture at the BA

The BA Professional Diplomas and Programs Section is organizing a lecture entitled "The National Intellectual Property Strategy: A Paradigm Shift for the Intellectual Property System in Egypt", which coincides with the World Intellectual Property Day. The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Hesham Azmy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Authority for Intellectual Property, and will be held on Wednesday, 23 April 2025, at 10:30 am, in the BACC Delegates Hall.
The lecture will provide a comprehensive vision of the national intellectual property strategy in Egypt, and the vital role of intellectual property rights as one of the main pillars for achieving sustainable development.
The lecture will also highlight the fundamental principles that form the basis of the intellectual property system, such as equal opportunities, social justice, adhering to transparency standards, boosting competitiveness, and preventing monopolies. In addition, it will discuss the ongoing efforts to encourage researchers and inventors to register their intellectual rights and raise community awareness of their importance through a wide range of events, such as conferences, seminars, and training courses.
