Director of Carnegie Middle East Center at the BA

The BA Center for Peace and Democracy Studies (CPDS) holds, within its Distinguished Lectures Series, a lecture by Dr. Paul Salem, Director of Carnegie Middle East Center, entitled “Transitions from Authoritarianism to Democracy: Global Experiences and the Arab Challenge”, on Tuesday 13 September 2011.
 

Salem holds a PhD from Harvard University, USA. His research work and publications focus on the regional and international relations of the Middle East, as well as issues of political development and democratization in the Arab world.
 

The Lecture starts at 3:00 pm at the BACC Delegates Hall, and the invitation is extended to all interested parties.
