Othello in a Play Reading at the BA

Alexandria— The Reference Services Unit is holding its monthly play reading in Arabic on Wednesday, 29 April 2009. Participants will read Othello by William Shakespeare.
One of the four great Shakespearian tragedies, the play is about the fall of a great man, Othello, a Moorish General in the Venetian army, whose hamartia, is excessive jealousy. The play also investigates jealousy in a wider human context through the eternal love triangle.
The session starts at 16:00 hrs. at the BA Arts and Multimedia Library. Participants should register their names at the General Information Desk at the Library entrance.
