AI Forum at the BA

The BA Technical Skills Unit, in collaboration with the Deanship of Admission and Registration at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Essam Khedr, launches the third consecutive year of cooperation between the two institutions in the 2025 season, which features specialized workshops held as part of the Artificial Intelligence Forum entitled “Exploring Applications Across Various Disciplines,” at 10:00 am on Monday and Tuesday, 13 and 14 October 2025.

The forum will open on Monday, 13 October 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, in the BACC Lecture Hall, followed by the launch of the first day's events, which will address two main themes: “Knowledge with Artificial Intelligence,” which will examine the applications of artificial intelligence in education, scientific research, and library science, and “Smart Entrepreneurship,” which will address the applications of artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship and start-up support.

The events on Tuesday, 14 October, will begin at 11:00 am and will introduce the third theme, “Healthcare with Artificial Intelligence,” which will tackle artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, clinical decision support, bioinformatics, and precision medicine. It will be followed by workshops on the fourth theme, “Creativity and Design with Artificial Intelligence,” which will explore the applications of artificial intelligence in art and design, comics, and digital art.

The forum will be attended by a select group of experts and specialists from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Alexandria University, and Egypt-Japan University, together with a number of executives from leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence. It will also feature a fair showcasing a number of student projects from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, in addition to a fair by Gate In, a company specializing in developing educational curricula for children using artificial intelligence technologies, and another fair by Invision, a company specializing in augmented and virtual reality games.

This event is a continuation of the efforts of the BA and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport to raise awareness of the importance of artificial intelligence, especially in light of the rapid changes taking place in the digital world.
