Board Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Intellectual Property Lectures at the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina organized a lecture entitled "The National Intellectual Property Strategy: A Paradigm Shift for the Intellectual Property System in Egypt", delivered by Prof. Hesham Azmy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Authority for Intellectual Property, and moderated by Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA.
Dr. Zayed stressed the importance of this lecture, pointing out that the issue of intellectual property is not only legal in nature, but is also cultural and social, and related to numerous values such as trust and tolerance. He added that the dissemination of intellectual property culture would open greater horizons for diversity and innovation, stressing that the Library is keen on spreading awareness of this issue, considering its status as a place for reading, research, and intellectual and knowledge production.
