Center for Democracy and Social Peace Studies (CDSPS) Courses

The BA Center for Democracy and Social Peace Studies (CDSPS), announced its academic courses to be held from September to December 2012.
This year’s courses will cover 5 topics: Culture of Peace, Human Rights, Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Negotiation, and Gender and Peace Building. The lectures are given by renowned university professors from Egypt and abroad.
Arabic is the working language in all courses, except for the Culture of Peace course, which will be given in English.
Participants must be university students or graduates, and should have good command of English.
Copies of the applicant’s ID, graduation or university certificate, personal photos and a short statement of purpose are required for application. Some courses require a statement of purpose in English, others require the completion of previous courses or a personal interview.
Registration is open daily from 12 to 30 August 2010, except for Fridays and Saturdays, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the CDSPS headquarter in 27 Abd El-Hameed Badawy Street, Azarita, Alexandria.
