Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day

The BA, in cooperation with Esri Northeast Africa, organizes a ceremony on the occasion of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day on Thursday, 16 December 2010.
The event includes a display of maps created with GIS, a poster session for participants in “What is GIS?” competition which was organized by the BA organized for university students, as well as presentations for “My GIS Project” competition for researchers.
The Award-giving ceremony for the two competitions will take place during the event.
The ceremony starts at 11:00 am at the BACC Small Theater.
