Serageldin Participates in the 2009 U.S.-Islamic World Forum

Alexandria—Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, participated in the sixth edition of “The 2009 U.S.-Islamic World Forum: Common Challenges” in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday,15 February 2009, as speaker and moderator.
The 2009 U.S.-Islamic World Forum brought together key leaders in the fields of politics, business, media, academia, and civil society from across the Muslim world and the United States, to discuss the common challenges of the global economic crisis and to formulate a set of recommendations for a new cultural and artistic engagement between the U.S. and the Muslim world.
