The Eighth Conference of the National Council for Women

Under the auspices of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, the BA will hold the Eighth Conference of the National Council for Women on Sunday 16 March 2008.
This year's theme is “Egyptian Women in Leading Positions”, to raise community awareness of the importance of women participation in leading positions and decision-making to achieve a balanced society in which the concepts of citizenship and social justice are achieved. The conference also studies the difficulties and obstacles that prevent women leadership.
The Conference will discuss four themes: women in leadership positions in the government sector; women in leadership positions in the private sector; women in leadership positions in civil society organizations; and women in leadership positions in political life.
