Exhibitions are among the efficient tools that the Calligraphy Center make use of to feature inscriptions from different ages. Therefore, the Calligraphy Center has adopted a program of exhibitions in order to promote dialogue between cultures, acquaint different nations with other culture’s writings, and to promote scholarly and public interest in inscriptions and calligraphy.
Exhibitions establish a permanent contact between the Calligraphy Center and the public. In addition, they highlight the achievement of the Calligraphy Center. Moreover, exhibitions are an ideal opportunity to demonstrate the ultimate technologies applied in the field whether related to the tools, or to the ways of research. The exhibition catalogue will be a major reference for both the laymen and the students, as it will include articles written by eminent Egyptian and foreign scholars. The exhibitions will be digitalized and placed on-line to guarantee universal access. Beside the electronic access, the publication of the exhibition in the form of a CD will be issued and it will include audible commentary on various artifacts from the exhibitions.
