A Course in Arabic Calligraphy for Adults
The Arabic Calligraphy courses organized by the BA Calligraphy Center continue in collaboration with the ‘Mohamed Ibrahim School for Arabic Calligraphy’ in Alexandria. This course comes as part of the BA’s endeavor to expand the participants’ artistic abilities and provide them with practical support. It also aims to introduce participants to the skills they need to acquire and to their various artistic uses.
Dr. Khaled Azab, Director of the Calligraphy Center explained that this course comes in response to the desire of school and college students to develop their Arabic Calligraphy skills as well as the needs of parents whose children have handwriting difficulties.
The course will be held in the Library of Alexandria on Saturdays and Wednesdays (2.00-4.00 pm) over a duration of 6 weeks starting from 22 November 2008.
