Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), a research center established in July 2003 in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, aims to play a significant role in the progress of science and technology in Egypt. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is pleased to invite you to attend a lecture by Prof. Mostafa El-Sayed , Julius Brown Chair and Regents Professor, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta (U.S.A). Prof. Mostafa El-Sayed is a laureate of the 2007 US National Medal of Science, the nations highest honor in the field .

The lecture, which will take place at 9:30 on 22 December 2009 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center,  is titled "More than One Way to Beat Cancer Cells to Death With Gold Nano-Particles" and will be chaired by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director, Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The lecture is open for public.
